Big Time Music Open Stage Opportunity at The Keystone Grill!
Here are Eleven Details:
1. Cancellation: This event will be cancelled if fewer than FIVE students sign up.
2. Minors: Students MUST be accompanied by a parent/guardian. This is not a drop-off event. Minors will not be supervised.
3. Two Songs +: Students perform 2 to 3 songs at a time until everyone has performed. Then, everyone can perform again, and so on and so on. Solo acts are encouraged, but duos and combo's are ok. Keep set up time to a minimum. When it's your turn, you go on stage, perform, and then go back to your seat (after applause and bows....)
4. Mark Olson will be present to help with sound and orientation of the disoriented.
5. Arrive early to get settled and tuned up.
6. The stage is set up for acoustic players. Electric players are welcome, but must bring their own stuff and should plug it in before 3:00PM.
7. The Keystone Grill does not have keyboard, piano, or drums on-site.
8. SONGS: Open stage means open stage. This is not a recital. Performers choose their songs and practice on their own, at home. Cheat sheets (sheet music) is ok, but not encouraged.
9. Friends (non-students) may participate in the open stage if they perform WITH YOU. Mic's and amps are limited.
10. At 8:30, Mark Olson is off-duty and will likely retire for the evening.
11. Students and kids under 18 must be accompanied by a parent/guardian.
